A high pressure welder is a professional who is qualified to perform welds on equipment and structures under high pressure, such as pipelines, tanks, boilers, water and gas pipes, etc. Duties of a high pressure welder may include:

1. Interpret welding plans and specifications to determine welding and surface preparation requirements.
2. Prepare welding surfaces by removing rust, paint and other contaminants.

4. Install pipes, tanks and other structures in welding position.
5. Perform quality welds using manual and automated welding techniques.
6. Inspect welds to ensure they meet specifications and safety standards.
7. Perform repairs to existing structures and equipment using welding techniques.
8. Use safety equipment, such as gloves, safety glasses and welding helmets, to protect against the risk of burns and injuries.
9. Work collaboratively with other members of the construction team to ensure work is completed safely and on time.
10. Comply with regulations and industry standards to ensure the safety and quality of welding work.
